Phyllis Olson first moved to Boulder in 1959 for several years and then settled here permanently in 1964. She discusses her membership in the First United Methodist Church, some of the issues and projects that the church has taken on, her position as president of the board of trustees in the 1970s, and her involvement in other Boulder organizations, including Historic Boulder and the Boulder Council for International Visitors.

Anne Marie Pois is a senior instructor in the Women's Studies Program. The classes she teaches include The History of Women's Activism in the United States and a research seminar on women and social change.
